AIR MILES® Reward Program

There are a variety of promotions available all year. To learn more about our current promotions, visit our AIR MILES In-Store page. You can also contact AIR MILES Customer Care Centre for support at 1-888-AIR-MILES (1-888-247-6453) and speak to a customer service representative.

You can use your AIR MILES Cash Miles to get Free* Fuel, Car Wash and in-store purchases (excluding tobacco products, Shell Gift Cards, partner/third-party gift cards, prepaid credit cards, phone cards and any other goods or services specified from time to time or as excluded by law) at participating Shell locations.

You can use your AIR MILES Dream Miles on flights, car rentals, hotels, merchandise, entertainment, and much more. For more information about AIR MILES Rewards, visit the AIR MILES Reward Program website.

In addition to getting Miles for shopping at Shell, Collectors can get AIR MILES by presenting their AIR MILES Card every time they make qualifying purchases at Participating Partners. There are more than 120 Partners and 100 online stores through airmilesshops.ca. For the full Partner listing, visit the Sponsors listing page on airmiles.ca.

Collectors have the opportunity to get AIR MILES Reward Miles twice when they use their Shell AIR MILES MasterCard from BMO or other AIR MILES credit card for purchases at participating AIR MILES Partners.

Collectors will get Reward Miles according to the Partner’s offer when they show their AIR MILES Card as well as Reward Miles for their AIR MILES credit card purchases according to the credit card offer.

Depending on the card chosen, Collectors can get 1 reward mile for every $15, $20 or $40 of purchases made on the credit card. 

You can view your AIR MILES account on-line by visiting the AIR MILES Reward Program website.

There can be up to a three-month lag before reward miles appears in your account. If the reward miles have still not appeared after 3 months, please contact Shell’s Customer Service for support at 1-800-661-1600 or by e-mail: generalpublicenquiries-ca@shell.com.

To order additional or replacement Collector cards, visit the AIR MILES Reward Program website. Supplementary Collector cards under the same name as the Primary Collector are free.

Yes. In order to get AIR MILES Reward Miles, you must present your AIR MILES Card at time of purchase. Shell is unable to award Reward Miles on previous purchases. Download the Shell App and link your AIR MILES Card so you never miss an opportunity to get AIR MILES Reward Miles.

Effective May 1st 2017, paper Gift Certificates are no longer accepted at Shell Retail locations across Canada, but you may exchange validated and unexpired certificates for a Shell Gift card of equal value by following the process out lined here.

Protecting Your Privacy at Shell

Shell respects the privacy of its customers and has implemented measures to protect personal information received from individuals. Shell has contracted with the AIRMILES® Rewards Program to process and manage your personal information for specified purposes. Shell uses your personal information for the following purposes:

• To administer the AIR MILES® Reward Program;
• To understand and analyze personal preferences based on purchase history;
• To develop, enhance, market and/or provide products and services to meet those preferences
• To communicate personalized offers

As a Collector you may receive personalized offers from Shell that are tailored towards your personal preferences based on analyzing your purchase history. With personalized offers, Shell would like to notify you of products, events and promotions that it believes may be of interest to you. You may receive your personalized offers by regular mail, email, SMS, through the Loyalty Program Website, Apps, social media, coupons or any other digital channels used by you and Shell.

In order to be able to provide you with personalized offers, Shell needs to understand your preferences. In order to be able to determine your preferences, Shell will analyze your purchase history; including information regarding:

• specific products you buy
• your total amount of purchases per transaction
• the time and place of the purchases you make
• the payment method you use 
• your shopping frequency
