Earlier last year, Shell Fleet Solutions launched Accelerate to Zero, a new global program designed to help businesses with fleets develop a data-driven roadmap and deploy solutions to help guide their journey to net-zero emissions. Shell Fleet Solutions is proud to share news on our first North American Accelerate to Zero collaboration with BGIS, a sustainability leader in the real estate industry.

“BGIS is committed to supporting the transformation into the low carbon era and has been leading the Real Estate industry in this journey for almost two decades. The electrification of transportation is another important component to achieving this objective, and BGIS is excited to work with Shell to build our roadmap to establish a net-zero fleet over the next two decades and serve as an example for other organizations with large fleets.

Gord Hicks C.M., CEO BGIS

Working with likeminded businesses and proactively embracing new mobility solutions into company policy and operations will allow the business sector to make meaningful contributions towards wider industry reduction targets.

By participating in Accelerate to Zero, fleet customers, like BGIS, have access to expertise that will help them establish clear and business-specific decarbonization goals. From an initial diagnosis of the business’s current fleet needs, existing plans and decarbonization ambitions, to delivery of a clear, customized road map, participating fleets are supported in delivering on their goals. Shell’s expert-led consultancy can help fleet managers improve security and safety, maximize efficiency, and reduce costs while helping to accelerate to net-zero emissions.
